Fr Ryan is a priest of the Archdiocese of Birmingham and was ordained in 2019. He studied at the Venerable English College in Rome and completed specialised studies in Catholic Social Teaching and Public Ethics.

He moved to Sutton Coldfield after serving as an assistant in St John the Evangelist and St Joseph the Worker parishes in Banbury.

He says, "it's a delight to be helping in Holy Trinity and Sacred Heart parishes in Sutton. These are vibrant communities of faith that inspire acts of devotion and charity, reaching beyond the walls of the church buildings. I am pleased to be journeying with you all in discipleship".

Before seminary, Fr Ryan read English at Warwick University and has worked in a variety of different roles.
